Consolidating our approach for transparent, participatory and collaborative governance

The foundation of amfori is grounded in our members’ input and their voices in our decision-making. Understanding their priorities and practicing good governance is key to delivering our Vision 2030. A key success and cornerstone of our activities is engagement from the amfori Board of Directors, Member Advisory Council (MAC) and Stakeholder Advisory Council (SAC). All three of these bodies provide advice on strategic issues, trends and drive decision-making. Together they are essential in preparing the organisation to face future challenges and staying abreast of important developments from our members and stakeholders. New structures aimed at connecting members’ expertise are also in place. Our Project Groups operate for a fixed term (a maximum of two years), with a specific mission.

Leveraging our Network

amfori is happy to announce the renewal and approval of our Network Committees/Network Chairs in Germany, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. The Network Committees are a vital part of amfori’s governance structure, playing a very important role in both providing input to and communicating with the main office. Going forward, amfori will strengthen the role of the Network to ensure that the geographical diversity of our membership is leveraged to its full potential and benefits the strategic direction of our organisation.

Next Up: amfori and GRI
